What data we process and why

• Browsing the site: you don't need an account. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies. We measure visits in aggregate (pages viewed, country, device type and referring website) with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, doesn't store your IP address and cannot identify you.
• Creating an account: we process your email address and password (stored encrypted) so you can sign in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email from Google.
• Writing to us through the contact form: we process your message and, if you give it to us, your email, only to reply to you. We delete the message once it has been resolved.
• Saving places: we store the list of places you save, linked to your account.

The legal basis is the performance of the service you request when creating an account; for the contact form, your consent when sending us a message; and, for aggregate visit measurement, our legitimate interest in knowing which content is useful.

Who else has access to the data

We use providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (web hosting and visit statistics). In addition, the map loads images from OpenStreetMap servers, which may receive your IP address when it is displayed.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as you keep your account. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to infoguauviajes@gmail.com. If you believe they have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
